Cashier: Uh...
Me: It's a samosa but Jewish.
Guy [turning around]: Huh?
Me: It's a bread that they've made less healthy with oils and butters and they shape it into a pocket and they fill it with the stuff from their culture and they bake it shut. Like, potatoes and onions and Eastern European things are in there. It's a Jewish samosa. A Jewish calzone. And there are lots of types.
Guy: Like a Hot Pocket.
Me: Yes, like a Hot Pocket.
